Mumbai Finishes 2,545 SRA Projects in 30 Years; Nearly 18% Completed Post-COVID

Mumbai, India’s financial capital, has seen significant progress in slum redevelopment and affordable housing over the past three decades. According to the Maharashtra Economic Survey 2025–26, the city has completed 2,545 Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) projects, helping thousands of families move from informal settlements to formal housing.
